Full Circle Development had one of our custom homes that we built in Hampton Lake highlighted on the cover of a recent LowCountry Home magazine. Here’s the picture of the home from the cover page of that issue:
Here is a snippet from the feature article that describes this home’s unique outdoor living room and pool area:
When Michael Burton sat down with sat down with his architect to formulate a home plan, he already had a good idea of what he wanted. An open, livable space was in order that meshed seamlessly with the outdoors. “We made it clear that the outdoor living space was going to be a place in which we would spend a lot of time,” said Burton.
To create the perfect outdoor venue, the architect extended the home’s roof line giving the outdoor space the appearance of being an additional “room” of the house. The outdoor area could then be furnished more like an interior living space instead of just a patio. The configuration allowed room for a TV viewing area, cooking and dining, and even a seating arrangement for overlooking the pool and the lake beyond it.
Full Circle Development refined the space by adding a rock wall fireplace, limestone hearth, travertine tumbled flooring, mahogany ceiling, and a full outdoor stainless steel kitchen. With the outdoor living space created, the only thing left to complete was the pool area.
